Our staff members have spent many years devoted to pursuing excellence in their field and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as instructors and trainers.

Faith Kromer has been the Fitness Director at Quest since 2001. She has a BS in Kinesiology from The University of Maryland and is certified through ISAT as a group fitness instructor and AFAA as a personal trainer. Faith is committed to maintaining the standard of excellence that Quest Fitness members and training clients have come to expect and deserve.

Cathy is a full-time personal trainer and fitness instructor. She specializes in functional training that enable her clients to move better through improved strengh, balance and flexibility. Cathy also trains competitively for power lifting competitions including dead lift,squat and bench press. she competed in the 2004 Maryland State Dead Lift Championship and set a new state record. Barbara Herron  (Target Hearts)
Barbara Herron, RN, BSN, an experienced Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Nurse, founded and directs Target Hearts. She is also:
  • ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Advanced Health and Safety Specialist
  • CPR Instructor for AHA (American Heart Assoc) and ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute) and teaches CPR/AED classes at Quest Fitness
  • Adjunct faculty for Community College of Baltimore County

Jimi Carey  (Personal Trainer)
Jimi Carey was born in Hamburg, Germany where he played and coached international semi-pro football for 14 years with the Munich Cowboys. He continued to play semi-pro football for 4 years in Maryland with the Baltimore Renegades, the Baltimore Bears and Arbutus Big Red.

Olga Campora  (Yoga Instructor)  Send E-mail to Olga Campora
Olga Campora, RYT 500, Ph.D., has taught yoga for 26 years. She is a Yoga Alliance USA registered yoga teacher and holds a Doctorate in Education from Tomas Garrigue Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. After discovering yoga in her native Czechoslovakia, she augmented her studies with courses at The Sivananda Intl Yoga Inst in Vienna, Austria from 1983 - 1989. She has studied with many influential senior yoga instructors, including John Friend, Barbara Benagh, Angela Farmer, Donna Farhi, Baron Baptiste and Victor van Kooten. Olga's classes focus on posture and movement, highlighting proper alignment techniques and breathing. Her teaching emphasizes empowerment and joy, imbued with a sense of creativity, freedom, humor and fun. Olga is deeply committed to yoga and her love of yoga is evident in the sense of humor and fun she brings to class.

Tom Tringali  (Personal Trainer/Instructor)
I received my Reebok Cycle Certification in 2002 and my Certified Personal Fitness Trainer Certification October 2003. Most recently I earned Body Training System's RPM Cycling Certification and plan to continue seeking educational courses in fitness. Fitness has changed my outlook on life in many ways and it will always be an important component to my family. I enjoy the sense of accomplishment, the friendships shared with the members, staff and clients and get enormous satisfaction from helping others reach their fitness goals safely.

Carol Brennan  (NSPA Certified Personal Trainer)
Carol became a personal trainer after many years as a dancer and dance instructor. She also taught at the Maryland School for the blind, taught swimming at area pools and was a recreational therapist for Genesis Eldercare. As a former competitive swimmer and tennis player she understands the importance of exercise for one's physical health and emotional well being.

Scott Beck  (ACE Certified Personal Trainer)  Send E-mail to Scott Beck
Scott has a Masters and Bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education (minor in Kinisiology) and comes to Quest with over 30 years experience in healthcare. He is an ACE certified Personal Trainer and Weight Management Consultant. Scott is formally the Director of the Department of Veteran Affairs Healthcare Quality and Evaluation office and is a lifelong fitness advocate. A former collegiate wrestler and competitive racquetball player, Scott practices and teaches a balanced "Whole Body" concept of training focusing on strength, flexibility, good nutrition and great cardio fitness. His extensive background in cardio and spinal injury rehab are put to good use with clients with special health and fitness challenges. Scott breaks down his approach to personal training and weight management this way:

"I focus on helping my clients first learn exactly what needs to be done, and then the best ways of doing it safely. Gradually they learn to turn good fitness and nutritional practices into life-long habits. Then, as they actually experience the benefits of their efforts, I love watching them share their enthusiasm and success stories with other folks just getting started. Susan C Walker  (Membership)
Susan has been a member of Quest Fitness since November 2003 and as an employee since 2006. She has worked out avidly since high school and enjoys cycling, running, skiing, Quest classes and both indoor and outdoor sports.

Susan graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA with a B.A. in Economics and Journalism. She began her career in New York City with F. Schumacher & Co. in December 1989 and after 16 years as Director of Marketing and Merchandising, left the company in January 2006 to pursue other interests and become a mom! Susan lives in Ellicott City with her husband and children.

Matt has a BS in Exercise Science and he is a Certified Sports Performance Coach Hung Ga Kung Fu Red Sash (black belt).

He has been involved in fitness since 2003 when he began as an Assistant Instructor at his martial arts school. Since then, he has continued to teach martial arts as well as providing personal fitness training and strength and conditioning coaching. Matt specializes in incorporating strength, conditioning and martial arts in his personal training to provide truly individualized, unique and effective workouts.

Jeremy is a full-time ACE Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in youth fitness. In the fitness industry since 2004 and a current tri-athlete, he is very energetic and loves working with both pre-teens and teens. He founded his own company in 2006, Greek Physique Personal Training. Jeremy is currently working towards his BS in Kinesiology after taking a sabbatical from his study of Youth Ministry.

Gina is an INBA fitness competitor and came in first place last year in Colorado Springs!

Veronica focuses on encouraging a healthy lifestyle of good nutrition and a solid work out routine.

Joan Davila-Pasha  (Membership Consultant)
As Quest's newest Membership Consultant, Joan has over 10 years of marketing experience with focus on sports and event marketing. She has a BS in Psychology & MS in Writing, but her true passion is health & fitness and finding a positive mind/body balance. Joan maintains a healthy lifestyle by eating an organic, healthy diet & by excercising daily. She came to Quest on a mission to lead by example & to share the Quest difference with both current & prospective members.

Christina Morabito  (Membership Consultant)
Christina came to Quest in 2002. She began her adventures at Quest by working with its youngest members in the Kidzone. Her passion for health and fitness then drew her to a position at the front desk. She now works as a memberhip consultant were she inspire others to begin working out and reaping the benefits.
